I've used these guys for several projects, form mundane fix-it jobs to emergency repairs, and have always been extremely satisfied with the work, the price, and most of all, how pleasant they are on the job.

Replacement of front porch columns, steps, new handrail, prepaint carpentry, and coordinated sub-contractor exterior paint job of entire house (one-story).

I called Jason for a bid and he scheduled a meeting immediately. He showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable about the historic nature of my house and was very enthusiastic about restoring my front porch, columns, steps, and handrails to their original design. While I was waiting for bids from other contractors (which took almost a month!), Jason followed up with me several times, which told me he actually wanted to do the work. I decided to select Jason because of his enthusiasm, knowledge, and high standards. He also worked with me to stay within my budget but never sacrificed quality. From beginning until the end, he and his partner, Dave, were top notch. Their work is beautiful and of very high quality. Neighbors are constantly stopping by and complimenting me on my porch. Jason also sub-contracted my exterior paint job. His choice of painters, was excellent. I had a wonderful experience with them and would definitely use them if again if I need additional paint work. In summary, Jason and his crew (Dave) do it right the first time, are a real pleasure to be around, and really care about the quality of their work. I highly recommend Jason and his team. You will not regret it!!

My gutters were installed wrong many years ago, were hanging off the house causing damage every time it rained due to water seeping in and looking just horrible. The shared two car garage was leaning and needed help. I live in another state and doing a big job like this and being so far away was nerve-wracking but Jason put my mind at ease that he could remedy the problems. And he did, perfectly. Being on a budget this job was a big decision for me. It took many months of researching and brain picking to finally get done. Jason was uber patient answering my many emails, phone calls and meeting me at the property several times. I had one other estimate ($10,000 from a local builder who began harassing me by phone). My brother-in-law, who is a decent carpenter himself, flew in from out of town to give me his opinion and take photos (which Jason took the time to study in detail). I brought in a contractor friend from Los Angeles to give me his feedback. Jason met us once again at the site, was very polite to my friend answering a barrage of questions and spending ample time with us walking around the property discussing the repairs. My friend assured me that Jason was the right man for the job. The work was completed in May in record time. I will definitely use Jason again for future jobs and highly recommend him to anyone wanting a talented, honest, hard working carpenter at a fair price who gets the work done, as promised, on time.

Needed a quick response since my 35 year old ovens failed and I was ovenless during the cooking season. Was able to get a 3 week turnaround so new, different sized double ovens could be installed. Difficult situation for Jason working with my 1916 house: non-square walls and different height doors abutting the cabinet. Stain had to match 35 year old patina on existing cabinets. Jason and Dave were professional and did an amazing job on all counts. The new ovens were installed today and went in without a hitch. The installers wanted my cabinet maker's name and number so they could recommend him to homeowners with similar problems.

Tile and wood work on two fireplaces, new floor to ceiling custom built-in bookshelves
Jason was a joy to work with. Imagine a contractor who also understands the concept of customer service, and recognizes that the quality of his work is a reflection of who he is. From start to finish, Jason went the extra mile to make sure the our fireplaces and book shelf met all our expectations. Specifically, he painstakingly drew out numerous sketches which helped us get a better sense of what would and wouldn't work in our house, kept us imformed of the progress of the work on a regular basis, and made it clear that our satisfaction was his top priority. When the project was pushed back due to circumstances beyond his control, he worked long hours and weekends to try to make up the time. Most importantly, the quality of his work was superb and definitely exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with the fireplace, tile work, and book shelves and would definitely hire Jason again should the opportunity arise!

They re-attached cabinets to my wall. They were falling off. They were awesome. They were easy to work with, professional, and responsive. I would recommend them to others.

Everything went really well. Jason is a craftman who really knows what he's doing, gives an exhaustive set of options on how to do things, is easy to work with, and is reasonable about charges even when unexpected difficulties come up. I definitely will call him next time I have a project to do.

Jason and his team built a railing around our stairs, put in a handrail, added picture molding/baseboards/window sills, etc to our entire second story. Turned a dumpy attic space into a sophisticated second floor. Great. They responded quickly and started the work promptly after getting a bid to me. They did a wonderful job of matching the woodwork to that on the main floor of our 1929 Tudor home. Great craftsmanship and nice guys to have around your house.

Jason and his team replaced missing trim/exterior molding, repaired damaged trim, window sills, siding, and worn out flashing on our 1893 Dutch Colonial.

A very good experience. Very professional and high quality work. Appreciated the punctuality, prompt response and attention to detail, especially as repairs were needed on short notice prior to painting the house. A lot of the missing trim needed to be recreated/milled as the details were not available in stock. Jason made the effort to provide pricing from various millers' in order to get the right pieces at the best possible price.
